Kevrekidis Named Hans Fischer Senior Fellow at TU Munich

Yannis Kevrekidis, Pomeroy and Betty Perry Smith Professor in Engineering and Professor of Chemical Engineering, has been appointed as a Hans Fischer Senior Fellow at the Technical University of Munich Institute for Advanced Study (TUM-IAS). Named for Professor Hans Fischer, 1930 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, the fellowship runs for three years and will allow Professor Kevrekidis to spend an extended period at TUM-IAS, beginning with a sabbatical leave this Fall, to further his collaborative work with TUM-IAS researchers.
